Elizabeth Short, who became forever known as the Black Dahlia, was an American woman who was found murdered in Los Angeles on January 15, 1947. Her case is world renown and is the most horrific unsolved case in LA history. The brutal nature of this crime left Elizabeth laying posed nude with her body bisected in half at the waste and her cheeks cut open from the corners of her mouth is a gruesome post mortem smile.
