Schlam, Brooklyn-born and now living in San Diego, is a lifelong writer. He studied under Joseph Heller, the author of Catch-22, while receiving his Master's in Creative Writing in New York, but focused on his career as a lawyer into his mid-life. However, one restless night in his New York apartment, he was jolted awake by voices that would stick with him and, one day, become his characters.
