In this episode, we invited the amazing Dr. Geeta Mehta, architect, author, co-founder and president of Asia Initiatives, co-founder of URBZ, and professor at Columbia’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation.
Dr. Geeta Mehta is working on the intersection between architecture, urban design, environmental preservation, and sustainability. She is the developer of the concept of Social Capital Credits (SoCCs), which not only is the coolest, most incredible, impactful thing, but was also described as “the most transformative and simple idea since Mohammad Yunus launched the micro credit movement”.
We discussed the importance of energizing Social Capital, the role of women in the healing of the Earth, insights and tips from Dr. Mehta, her dreams of how the future will look like, and where she finds hope.
