Trigger Warning: Infant/baby/child death
Grief is a complex emotion. It can be phased and a process, and can go on for years. For some, grief stays with them for a lifetime; popping in at random times, often throwing them off guard. Similarly, death is one of life's inevitabilities that most of us struggle to reconcile and fear more than anything else.
All of this is compounded when it's the death of your child and the grief and pain of losing that child overcomes your entire being...never leaving you...forever yearning to hold and see your child one last time.
Joining host Jennie on today's episode is Sabrina Boukhiba. She is a mother, and on 3rd November 2022, she lost her 6 month old son Idris. He died of a rare heart condition.
Sabrina very bravely shares her story; opening up about her journey with grief and loss, and all of the ways it has and will continue to impact her life. With the death of her child, Sabrina is now learning to live again.
