The energy of a real apology is an important thing. We've all apologized out of shame, fear, urgency of some kind - to save face, to save a relationship, to make ourselves look good. In today's episode we talk about how to pause, how to manage shame, how to come to a place of genuine compassion (for ourselves and the other) before we apologize. We also talk about when we're not ready to apologize - which is okay too.
