The Dos and Don’ts of Hiring a Forester

Tim discusses goals on revenue from timber, residual trees, desired future condition, and misses many foresters make. Tim discusses the importance of future timber and to not get lost in consultants that dissuade landowners from doing the right thing. Tim and Jon discuss habitat practices, improved deer hunting, fawn drop and survival and the importance of a quality forest management and habitat plan.
