In this, our first episode, we speak with Rod Sampson, who recently retired after an extremely successful career in the financial industry.  Sam Brooks, the host and founding director of Vintage Acquisitions, explores the reasons why Rod believes in Whisky Cask investment and recommends that many people should look at it as a sound financial option in their wider investment portfolio.  

Rod gives us some figures and explains why and how he got into the whisky world.  He talks about his love for wine, and when he decided to take the whisky path, he did it with Vintage Acquisitions above anyone else.  We also hear from Sam about some of the exciting future projects he has planned and why he believes Vintage Acquisitions have been able to continue trading into their 13th year, something unique in the industry.
