It doesn't seem very often that the government actually does much good. But if it wasn't for the Bottled-In-Bond Act of 1897, which required whiskey to be aged and bottled according to a set of legal regulations, we probably wouldn't be making videos and enjoying such a great drink. Because whiskey made before the government stepped in was really, really bad.
