Episode 16: Keisha Whatley, An Example/Someone to cause others to go for it

What does community mean to you, and how do we create community? How can we support one another, and especially independent creators? Keisha Whatley shares her story of creating a community asset through the restoration of the Swain Building in the Philadelphia area, which will become a space for people to gather and interact with art, and for artists to learn and grow. Keisha talks about the importance of doing this work as a African American, Indigenous woman, and the paradox of getting media exposure but still needing support from the community to make it happen.
