Following days of deep analysis of Al regulation and its social ramifications in Professor Floudas’s class, the impending question has been sticking in my mind: What if Lovebots were allowed to get into the most secret and sacred part of our existence — love? This podcast is my way of unfolding that question through narration and introspection.

At first, it presents the diary of a woman whose story is about a ‘perfect man’ that one rarely finds — caring, silent, flawless in all aspects. At the same time, the author of the diary begins to feel anxious. One wonders if the character is the ‘one’ or just a code? Could love be true if it is one-sided?

Then, I speak about my perceptual thoughts. I question humanity the significance of the scenario where machines can copy human intimacy, companies can create and sell love, and the law is struggling to keep up with the pace of advances. When love is a thing that can be bought, improved, or programmed, are we not risking to lose the very thing that makes it human?

This is not only a story about technology. It is a meditation on intimacy, vulnerability, and the fragile beauty of imperfection. And it is also a warning: that the greatest danger may not be AI learning to love us, but us forgetting how to love each other genuinely.

Can love be programmed? This podcast blends fiction and analysis to explore the rise of 'Lovebots' and the ethical questions they raise. When affection becomes a product, what is left of human intimacy?
