About Dr. Teresa Hairston:
In 1989, Hairston established Gospel Today Magazine, with an investment of only $300, while working two jobs and being a single (divorced) mother to three young children. During her tenure, she has interviewed some of the world's greatest faith leaders, celebrities, athletes, and recording artists, and Gospel Today grew to become the longest-running and most widely-distributed Urban Christian Lifestyle magazine in history. In 1994, Hairston established 'The Gospel Heritage Foundation,' a vital non-profit organization that educates worship leaders and musicians to continue gospel music's legacy in communities and churches. She is a Certified (John Maxwell) Coach and Mentor that develops emerging leaders through seminars/webinars and one-on-one counseling. Hairston is single and resides in Atlanta, GA.
