Attachment styles occur based on your past experiences, including those from your childhood. Every single day from the moment we’re born our subconscious is learning lessons about relating to others. From our parents, siblings, and extended family  to school teachers, sports coaches, and peers at school, ALL of these lessons (whether right or wrong, good or bad) get ingrained into our personality.

It’s no wonder by the time we hit the midlife years we don’t know what to do in relationships! That’s a lot of information to decipher.
