In a week where:
In Sports: (8:19) It has been just over a week since the NCAA created what has been dubbed the "Rich Paul Rule". The man involuntarily connected to all of this, Rich Paul, has penned a response to it all. The rule itself has been rescinded by the NCAA since he wrote it but their intentions are abundantly clear.
In Film/TV: (22:10) Disney have mapped out their near future and it's very telling as to how simple their methods are. Blockbusters & highly touted films that have "Award SZN" potential will get theatrical releases. Everything else, straight to streaming. Is this going to be the case for the future of Film? Hasn't it already happened in a way?
In Life: (37:22) Ibram X Kendi talks to The Guardian's Owen Jones and poses the idea that you're either racist or anti-racist. The term "Not Racist" doesn't help and actually serves as a scapegoat for people that don't have to face racism on a daily basis. The "on the fence" attitude has to stop.
Finally, in Music: (52:27) Since it was recently the birthday of Hip-Hop, I thought it'd be a great moment to celebrate the first and original "King Of Rap". Mr Kurtis Blow, who also had a birthday recently.
