Ep.122 - European Super League & Derek Chauvin

In a week where:

1. Raúl Castro announced his resignation as head of the Communist Party of Cuba.
2. Global COVID-19 deaths surpass a reported 3 million.
3. NASA scientists successfully made the first-ever controlled flight attempt on another planet.
4. Russia has amassed more than 100,000 troops near the Ukraine border.
5. Chad's President Idriss Déby dies from injuries sustained during clashes with rebels in the northern part of the country over the weekend.

In the first of two Life segments: (6:03) Derek Chauvin has been found guilty on all three counts he was trialled for, but whilst accountability has been fulfilled, it doesn't paper of the chasm that is the US Justice System.

In Sports: (20:55) The European Super League was so short-lived, that I recorded a chat with the "In Search of Sauce" co-host & football fan/critic Ryan about the initial announcement and then it DIED before I could even get this episode out.

In the 2nd Life segment: (43:26) Facebook is back at it again, hopping on trains. This time, they're getting on the Live Audio & Podcast space. I'm sure this will go down smoothly.

Lastly, in Film/TV: (54:47) There's been a few texts that have hyper-focused on black people dying for some reason. And they're so in-your-face about it, I personally wonder who the hell is watching these texts.
