When you think about motherhood, sisterhood, womanhood, it breathes commUNITY, life, a comradery among women. Sisters, we need the hood because it’s nurturing to the soul.

So, today I want to share P.M.S. Notes on how we nurture the hood.

1.     Being present. “How do you show up consistently in your hood/relationships?”

2.     Love the hood where they are on the journey. “How do you allow space for nonjudgment, trustworthiness, and genuineness in your hood/relationships?

3.     Forgiveness. “What are ways you allow forgiveness in your hood/relationships?”

4.     Shared Experiences. “How are the bond of relationships a mirror of your values?”

5.     Respect Boundaries. “How have you sustained boundaries in your hood/relationships?”

6.     Inspire You. “How do I inspire my hood/relationships?”

7.     Honesty. “How do you stay honest in your hood/relationships?”

8.     Celebrate One Other. “How do you celebrate your hood/relationships?” Words can go a long way: Congratulations! You go girl! I’m happy for you! I'm so proud of you!

Be the HOOD you want to have!

What does this mean? You have to define what matters to you in building, sometimes rebuilding, nurturing, loving, sustaining, and growing in your Hood (CommUNITY).
