Most of the time, what you're doing is being avoidant. Avoiding the feeling of discomfort and pain. Avoiding the reality that you need to solve it. Or maybe you get by with "going around the obstacle" only to face it again down the road.
The secret to reducing these constant feelings is finding inner peace - which is a long-term process and often you have to work through it, not around or avoiding it.
