#158: Kristin Lee is a self-made financial and business expert who is best known for wrangling the financials of celebrities, musicians, and athletes alike, and is the person A-listers come to for real-life intervention, guidance, and support. Lee is not your typical business manager as she's a young, female, professional who prefers leather jackets and tattoos instead of suits and ties. However, it's her genuine authenticity and unapologetic attitude that has made her relatable to her clients and a household name in the business and finance world. Lee has been in hustling in the entertainment industry since she was 16 years old when she started taking photos for bands at concerts. She then moved on to being an artist manager for several years and then worked at a record label. She always loved accounting and entertainment, so business management encompassed both her passions. She worked at several prestigious firms before starting her own company. As her roster grew, she knew she wanted to move up the ranks. Unfortunately, at a lot of the bigger firms, upward mobility is scarce. Being a young professional female, she quickly realized she wasn't going to get a seat at the table, so she built her own. Today, she's a business manager to some of the biggest household names in the entertainment industry and has offices located in Los Angeles, Seattle and Nashville that is supported by an all-female staff.
