What Does The Bible Say About "The Church Is The Kingdom"?

In this episode, Arnie and Fred discuss the statement that, "The Church Is  The Kingdom" and the fact that the Bible agrees with that statement. We note that Jesus spoke of His church and kingdom in the same context when He discussed that subject with Peter and the rest of the apostles.  We point out the original meaning of the Koine Greek word translated "church" in most English bibles.  We look at passages that uses the word "church" and "kingdom" in them. We deal with a number of passages in the Old Testament that prophesy the establishment of the church/kingdom  and when these prophesies were made. We close out this episode by pointing out some passages in the New Testament that the Lord's kingdom was at hand or nigh and the Lord's church would be built soon.
