What Does The Bible Say About Resurrection?

In this episode, Arnie and Fred talk about resurrection. It is a subject many times at funerals when we talk about seeing our loved ones again. Solomon tells us that our spirit returns to God when our bodies die. We note numerous passages that refer to the resurrection of our bodies.  Paul in particular has a whole chapter in First Corinthians discussing that very subject.  We talk about the definition of the word and the fact that it is referred to no less than 42 times in the New Testament. We look at the three times in the Old Testament that individuals rose from the dead. There are a number of instances in the New Testament that we talk about.  Of course, the example of Jesus' resurrection is also noted and especially the example of Thomas being a reliable witness of that event.  We complete this episode by noting the comfort an obedient servant of the Lord can experience knowing he will live again and be with the Lord in heaven.
