In this episode, Arnie and Fred discuss what the Bible says about making moral decisions. We know that sin abounds in the world ever since Adam and Eve disobeyed God in the Garden. Ever since that time, every accountable person has committed sin. We know that it got so bad in the past that God flooded the earth destroying all human beings except the eight on the Ark. In this study we want to discuss what sin is, the fact that it is a clear and present danger that entraps, destroys and condemns people; and then consider how to make safe and moral decisions. We note a number of the Bible passages that list various sins. We talk about ancient Israel and how it illustrates declining morals of God's people. The ancient Gentiles were notorious for their immorality and we note one specific example. Even early Christians did not escape the evil influence of the society they were a part of and we discuss the examples provided by the Bible. We note the hidden dangers that are involved with sin, its deceptiveness and enslavement. Finally, we discuss the role that false teachers play in deceiving people and causing them to sin.
