What Does The Bible Say About Inherited Sin?

At least since the time of Augustine of Hippo (aka Saint Augustine, AD354-430)  and perhaps even before him, numerous religions that consider themselves to be "Christian", have taught the doctrine of Original Sin or Inherent Total Depravity. Since Adam and Eve were expelled from the Garden of Eden because they disobeyed God by eating of the Tree of Knowledge and became guilty of sin, many theologians, like Augustine, but not all of them, have concluded and teach that our original parents' guilt is physically inherited from them by all of their descendants.
