In this episode, you'll get to meet Dr. Aalap Shah. He is a solo anesthesiologist and healthcare consultant. After graduating from Johns Hopkins University with his degree in Neuroscience, Aalap went on to obtain his doctor of medicine degree from University of Pittsburgh. He then completed his residency in general anesthesiology at University of Washington Affiliated Hospitals.
Aalap then completed two fellowships at Harvard Medical School. One fellowship was in Pediatric Anesthesiology, and the other in Research/Clinical Informatics. He is not only an anesthesiologist, but also the president of Aalap C. Shah, MD Inc as an independent contractor and healthcare consultant. Aalap also founded PRPmobile MedSpa.
You may be surprised to learn that Aalap used to be a DJ, and now re-masters hip hop and house music on a synthesizer in his spare time.
