Some argue that the Tithe is strictly an old covenant principle. That because we are no longer “under the law” they assume the Tithe doesn’t apply to us. However, the principle of the Tithe far predates the law. What we are redeemed from is the curse of not tithing. Scripture says “Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law.” (Galatians 3:1) But, there is a life of blessing the Lord has for us that is only accessed through the Tithe.
