On Thursday, August 14th, Glen Island Park in New Rochelle came alive with rhythm, flavor, and excitement at the Salsa Dance Party hosted by Westchester County Parks and Arthur Murray Dance Studios. The evening kicked off with a free salsa lesson from 5pm. to 6pm, where Arthur Murray’s expert instructors made it easy and enjoyable for dancers of all levels to jump in and learn the moves. From 6pm to 8pm, the dance floor was alive with energy as the crowd showed off their new steps to the pulse of lively Latin beats. Adding even more fun to the night, Westchester Talk Radio host Jim Feldman spoke with Charlie Hull, owner of Snowie snow cones, who kept the summer evening cool and refreshing with icy treats for dancers and spectators alike.
