Ahhhh. A deep sigh of relief has been ubiquitously expelled and a tangible weight has been lifted from the shoulders and psyches of the professional baseball world and fans alike as this abbreviated, and darn right distilled, season has somehow come to an end (relatively) hitch-free. We march on (along with more than half of MLB) to the unknown perils that lie in the form of a postseason encased in a bubble. But first, let’s distribute some hardware and make some hyperbolic predictions for the nearing October.
