Major Simon de Montfort has to ask the Devil what is going on. So he summons her. No... Not summon, but invite her for a chat. The chat becomes very serious, and he learns that he is in the most drastic and challenging position of either of them.
At the end of the chat, he has a difficult decision to make. Yet again, he has to choose whether someone will live or die. Again, but this one... does not deserve it.
