We've all experienced anxiety at one time or another- a sudden wave of panic, an inexplicable dread, the feeling of being overwhelmed. Unfortunately, too many people think it is all in your head or downplay anxiety as just a normal part of life and attempt to 'power through' it on their own. But here's the thing: Anxiety disorders are real and can have debilitating consequences if left untreated. In this episode, I will talk about the many misconceptions about anxiety and touch on ways to manage it — because, believe me, there is help and hope available!
