Adam Sinkus lives in Fort Myers, Florida. People who love here know what they have signed up for, the 'cost of paradise' as Adam refers to it. Storms are common in this part of coastal Florida, and Hurricane's are always a threat too. In September 2022, a Category 4 Atlantic Hurricane, named Ian, would make landfall as the deadliest Hurricane to strike since 1935. Adam takes us through his experience in mesmerizing detail, as 150mph winds battered his home and the surrounding area. He lived to tell the tale, others we not so lucky.
