In this podcast episode, I talked about having mixed-age children and how to manage that at the parks. We will be potty training our youngest child while our oldest child will want to ride roller coasters. So there's a delicate balance and ensuring everyone has a great time while on vacation.
1. We'll talk about needing to know what resources are at your disposal in the parks. Especially for infants and toddlers, if you're breastfeeding, or if you're potty training. Knowing where your Baby Care Centers are located, the layout of the parks, and where restrooms are located if you plan to be in a specific area for a long time.
2. Managing tantrums as a parent at Walt Disney World, my joke is everyone becomes a gentle parent at Walt Disney World if they want to ensure peace on their vacation. I also explain the true definition of gentle parenting. There's a BIG misconception that peaceful parenting equals soft.
3. Setting expectations of older kids and how to make them feel like they have some control over their Walt Disney World vacation and the balance between having children of all different ages.
Then we review all the tools that you got from this podcast, and hopefully this will not only help you at the Disney parks, but also help you when managing expectations at home.
