This marks a 28% increase from its previous valuation of $4 billion during its Series C funding in 2022. Founded in 2018, Abnormal Security uses machine learning and AI to detect cyber threats. The company has raised nearly $546 million in total and plans to invest further in its human behavior AI platform. The company also reported surpassing $200 million in annual recurring revenue. Cybersecurity startup investments rebounded in 2024, reaching $4.4 billion in Q2, a 63% increase from Q1, marking the best funding quarter since Q1 2022.
