36. Protecting the Amazon Rainforest, Reciprocity, and MAGIC

It was such an honor to have Samantha Cushing of Magic Fund Amazon join us in this conversation. She shares a bit about her journey of studying with Taita Juanito and the ancestral wisdom from the Putomayo region of the Colombian Amazon. There is so much wisdom the plants and people from this part of the earth have shared and together with Taita, they have created a beautiful project to give back to these lands.

MAGIC Fund Amazon is currently working to protect and preserve 50 hectares of land to cultivate native and bio diverse plant medicines, as well as other projects aiming to preserve the culture and support the local people.
