Good morning, Houston! Let's dive into our weather forecast with some weekend vibes and a sprinkle of meteorological magic.
Overnight, we're looking at a cozy blanket of patchy fog and mostly cloudy skies, holding steady at a mild 58 degrees. A gentle north wind will be whispering at around 5 miles per hour.
Sunday's shaping up to be a bit of a mood - patchy fog will play peek-a-boo before 10 in the morning. But don't worry, the clouds are going to part, giving way to a gloriously sunny afternoon with temperatures climbing to a comfortable 68 degrees. Our north wind will take a chill pill, becoming almost calm.
As we roll into Sunday night, expect some fog to creep in after 3 in the morning. The sky will be partly cloudy, with temperatures dipping to around 54 degrees. The wind will do a little dance, starting calm and then switching to a soft south breeze.
Monday brings more fog before 9 in the morning, but then it's party time with sunshine taking center stage. We'll see temperatures warming up to a delightful 76 degrees, with a south wind playing between 5 to 15 miles per hour.
The rest of the week looks pretty sweet - Tuesday will be sunny and crisp at 64 degrees, New Year's Day follows suit with another sunny day around 60 degrees. We've got mostly sunny conditions continuing through Thursday.
A slight chance of showers enters the picture Thursday night and Friday, but nothing that'll ruin your weekend plans.
