I’ll be honest. I’ve been struggling to get back into the swing of things post-holidays. I’d like to say that I’ve been nothing but gentle with myself about this…but that would be a lie. Which is why my conversation with Ashleigh Martinez about work sabbaticals came at exactly the right moment. 

Ashleigh is the Manager of Employee Culture and Community Development at Creative Circle. As a show of appreciation for her ten year anniversary at Creative Circle, she was able to take a three-month sabbatical that taught her so much about herself and her relationship with work.
