Can Love Cover All
Does loving your significant other through their addiction make you a fool? Can you really help who you love? Some people believe that they can love the person out of their addiction. Most people have deeper issues and they use drugs and alcohol to mask the real issues.
Counseling and rehab treatment can help those who wish to receive it. The first step is admitting that you have an addiction. I am a firm believer that you can't want more for a person than they want for themselves.
While in a committed relationship you should love a person far beyond just the surface. Love is a action word but at the same time you have to show some tuff love. I think that it takes a special person to love someone who keeps battling with a strong hold such as drug and alcohol addiction.
