Matt & Sinead are joined by a special guest host and one of WA’s leading elite road runners, and professional Duathalete; Matt ‘Smithie’ Smith


In this episode:

•⁠  ⁠Matt has another solid week, 7 days out from HBF & on his continued road to GC Marathon

•⁠  ⁠Sinead’s running continues to slow down as she approaches the final leg of pregnancy.

•⁠  ⁠Smithie has a relatively down week after taking 2nd place at last weekend’s HOKA Sydney Half Marathon.


RESULTS:

- We chat with Josh Tighe after his big win at yesterday’s Margaret River Ultra 78k event. The women’s 78k was taken out by Jayme Bergman, who impressively finished second overall!

- Jon Pendse & Georgia Baldock take out the Marathon events at the Joondalup Lake Rumble Run. Enduro 28k, Half Marathon, 14k & 5k results can also be found below

- WA is well represented at the Irrational South 200 Miler, with Aaron Young taking out the 200mile event in 2 days, 9hrs, 59min & 8 seconds

- Six WA athletes are named in the Australian U/20 World Championships team, including Ky Hehir who continues to impress on the national stage! The U/20 World Championships will take place in Lima, Peru from the 27th – 31st August 2024
