VULVA SHOTS WITH ALIX is the podcast where brave humans step into the powerful, yet often uncomfortable, work of uncovering the stories we’ve been conditioned to believe about who we are meant to BE and of unravelling how to change those stories. Hosted by Alix Carr-Harris, each episode takes listeners on a personal and sometimes raw story through the messy reality of changing her mind about expectations of relationships, aging, parenting, and business. This isn’t just storytelling—it’s a community-driven dialogue aimed at becoming familiar with the discomfort of questioning what’s “true”, of breaking or challenging generational patterns, of prioritizing healing, of reclaiming joy, and encompassing and sharing a legacy of curiosity, openness, love and resilience to those that come behind us.
For humans who find themselves where they never expected to be, or for those who have quietly or boldly declared “Enough”, and find themselves feeling alone and untethered, who understand “in theory” that they are worthy of living a juicy life free of shame and fear but feel exhausted trying to prove it, VULVA SHOTS WITH ALIX is your weekly dose of shared experiences, acknowledgement, inspiration and perhaps permission to dare into the darkness for your light.
This podcast will explore what it means “to show up in the raw” as we uncover our stories and build a daily practice of leaning into vulnerability as strength training. With support, shared practical tools and healthy habits for navigating and designing life; with or against the grain, creating new stories in alignment with who we desire to BE.
Join us for conversations that will support us, challenge us and sometimes make us gut laugh on our messy, badass, tender journeys from self-doubt to self-trust, from untethered to free, where we know the work is working.
