On 3 November 2022, BlueScope is celebrating the 50th anniversary of its site at Western Port. Located on the Mornington Peninsula in the Australian state of Victoria, this is a facility that has seen great change over the years and has played a significant role in the local community that surrounds it. In this last of three episodes dedicated to the history of Western Port, we meet five women to learn about their experiences at and contributions to the site: Laura Towey, Regina Neville, Emily Trott, Uthpala Garusinghe and Stacey Forecast.
