Wave of Light 2022

This episode has been designed as a soundrack to the Wave of Light 2022. We understand that listening to this might bring up feelings and emotions, so please know that Sands is here to support you.

This year is the 20th anniversary of baby loss awareness week and we asked you on social media what you’d like to see from Sands and we had an overwhelming response from you saying you’d like more opportunities to say your babies’ names 

We gave some thought to how we could make this happen and came up with this idea which we hope you feel is very special. Baby Loss Awareness Week culminates with the global “Wave of Light” on 15th October, where people from all over the world are invited to light a candle at 7pm local time and leave it burning for at least one hour to remember all of the babies who have died too soon 

We wanted to give people a chance to hear those babies names spoken out loud. So with the recordings that you sent us, we've created a soundtrack for this hour. So as we join together to light our candles, these are some of our babies #WaveOfLight
