St. Louis hip-hop artist Jordan Ward has toured internationally as a backup dancer with music industry giants. Now, he’s setting out as an artist himself. This month, he joined JID and Smino on their “Luv Is 4Ever” tour and is currently gearing up for his own tour in support of his debut album ‘FORWARD,’ set to start in May. Before opening up for JID and Smino in front of a packed crowd at the Aragon Ballroom, he sat down with Vocalo’s morning host Bekoe to talk about tour, his new album, transitioning from backup dancer to hip-hop star and creating high-energy music.
This conversation originally aired on Vocalo Radio 91.1 FM during Mornings With Bekoe on Tuesday, March 21. It was edited by Bekoe. Keep up with Jordan Ward by following him on Instagram @jordanward.
