Heavy Crownz Grows His Roots On ‘BRANCHED OUT!’

Chicago community leader and hip-hop artist Heavy Crownz sows the seeds of positivity and growth in the heart of the city’s South Side. Heavy’s journey connects the worlds of music, community engagement and personal transformation — and his latest project, EP ‘BRANCHED OUT!,’ is the melodic embodiment of his journey. Heavy Crownz is also deeply committed to his community in Englewood, where he serves as the director of non-profit organization Imagine Englewood If. In conversation with Vocalo host Bekoe, Heavy Crownz shared what he’s been working on recently and his insights on the intersection of art, community and self-discovery.
