This week’s show celebrates the green spaces of SW London especially Tooting Commons!

Our ‘Local Hero’ is a building - The Woodfield Pavilion and to chat to us on its behalf is project manager, Janet Baker. We hear about the excellent support she and her team of volunteers offer to the local neighbourhoods around Tooting Bec Common where the Pavilion is located. This historic building will bring joy for generations to come thanks to the loving restoration by the communities it now serves.

The ‘Local Lowdown’ features a talking tour of Tooting celebrating this corner of our boroughs and is studded with little know facts.
