Our guest today is Alex Chernenko, CEO and Co-founder of Translit.com - a really interesting on-demand interpreting and translation software and service that started out as basically the uber of interpretation and translation and has expanded to be a whole lot more than that.
Today, we're going to discuss some tactics and strategies around expanding your marketing to go global beyond just one language and the opportunity that exists there. Doing some pretty simple things, specifically something that Alex calls transcreation. So, not just translating your marketing materials, but actually transcreating them, meaning going deeper in terms of the context of your marketing, specific to different global areas, the keywords, the metadata, etc.
Alex has developed some really cool technology around artificial intelligence, real-time interpretation, and much more. You gonna hear how he's able to get over 65% open rate with his cold email campaigns.
He does a lot of outreach to get some really large government contracts. In this podcast episode, he also talks about his journey growing this startup from 2009 to now, where he's really on the up and up.
