This week we are joined by our own expert Andrea Strong, DNP to discuss first and second line therapies for overactive bladder. To learn more about Overactive Bladder check out Episode 40.
Behavioral treatments are a group of low risk options in the treatment of overactive bladder (OAB). This treatment modality may consist of a change in a person's behavior, lifestyle or environment. First line therapies should be discussed with all OAB patients. Second line therapies include beta 3 agonists and/or anticholinergics in the treatment of OAB. These oral pharmaceuticals can be an effective treatment option when used appropriately. Join us for an in depth discussion on first and second line therapies for OAB.
