Befana

'To Italy and don't spare the horse'. Yes this week we look at the Italian christmas witch Befana. She brings children gifts on the Epiphany and unlike the central European characters, dosn't have a bad side. Probably pre-Christian and tacked on to Christmas, she may have known the 3 kings/wise men/Magi, she may or may not have met baby Jesus, she may or may not have been looking to kidnap him. We will leave it to the listener to decide. Also discussed, the issues caging two Beta's together and the introduction of the worst character in the Urbane Legends cannon 'Mr Twinkles', Neils sock puppet mediator.
