3) Eddie Izzard, Believe Me; A Memoir of Love, Death, and Jazz Chickens, (New York, Penguin Random House, 2017), p. 263. Capsule Review: Overly-detailed accounts of early childhood. Pretentious and unnecessary use of footnotes. However, the concept of the magical hippo that always returns in indispensable and writing is insightful and eloquent throughout.
