I was so fortunate to chat with author J. Kent Layton prior to his book signing at Titanic Pigeon Forge just a few days ago. It's a short interview but Kent's razor-sharp insight into the research process for his renowned book On a Sea of Glass (co-authored with Bill Wormstedt and Tad Fitch) is so invigorating. Kent has written extensively about Titanic as well as other Atlantic liners.
