Y'all, this heat though. It is relentless! What do we do? Or better yet, what do we do with our kids that want to play like wild animals on the playground? But also, in the same breath  want to swim like mermaids all day, every day! From swimming safety to keeping hydrated and not overheating- Ochsner's pediatric ER doctor is here! Dr. Anna Suessman sat down with me to discuss the importance of HEAT SAFETY! As well as SWIM SAFETY.  Dr. Suess (as she is called) is also the director of faculty development  for all of Ochsner Health.  Her knowledge and passion helps us all to  strive for better health every day!
Later, I tracked down a local celeb. If you are a true local, I know you have heard of The Ruby Slipper Cafe. From the delicious egg's Benedict combinations to the cute array of cocktails. This place was BORN TO BRUNCH, BABY. And today, we have the co-owner of the Ruby Slipper with us! 
Jennifer Weishaupt sat  down with me to talk about the conception of this gem and how the concept and dream were brought to life.
