Today’s episode was highly anticipated for Nicole!  What an honor to interview Lindsey Pollak, a New York Times bestselling author and leading career and workplace expert.  Lindsey shares her inspiring story, and together, she and Nicole unpack Lindsey’s insightful perspective on life, work, and finding that balance that can sometimes be impossible to achieve. 

Nicole and Lindsey unpack her incredible career trajectory and discuss what led her to write her latest book, “Recalculating:  Navigate Your Career Through the Changing World of Work (Harper Collins, 2021)”.

1. Sometimes, you can know all the right things and do them right, but things might not turn out the way you wanted - life still happens
2. Choose to take a positive attitude towards social media - it’s a tool for you to utilize in the way that works best for your own personality and needs
3.  We overestimate what we can accomplish in a day, but we underestimate what we can accomplish in a month or a year, and sometimes, the smallest steps we take can lead us to some of the most incredible outcomes
