Just to clarify: For all of us, there are circumstances beyond our control. This is not about controlling what we cannot control, it is about responding and deciding to grow from it. I understand firsthand, even when I lost my son, that I did not choose that circumstance. I had to make a decision, that with the help of God, I would not give up, and instead, allow God to create new circumstances from that extremely painful season in my life. The primary point of this post is that we cannot control the uncontrollable, but we do get to decide how to respond to it. I love you all. Z.
