Nitrice has worked as a volunteer crisis counselor for Rape Victims Advocates, as intake counselor and later Executive Director of the Chicago Abortion Fund, as well as a safe sex educator for African American Women Evolving. Presently, she is working on obtaining a degree in Psychology and spends her free time designing and creating beautiful jewelry.
